Terms of Use

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of invictusvp.com and the Invictus client portal. By using either, you agree to them. Draft for counsel review.

1. Who we are

Invictus Venture Partners ("Invictus", "we") operates an early-stage venture fund and provides financial advisory services. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, or investment, legal, tax or accounting advice.

2. Client portal access

Portal accounts are issued to named individuals at client companies. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend access to protect the portal or its data.

3. Client data and reports

Financial information shown in the portal is drawn from your accounting system (e.g. QuickBooks) and from models prepared by Invictus. Actuals are presented as received; forecasts are estimates and not guarantees of future performance.

4. Submissions

Pitch decks and materials sent through the Contact page are received on a non-confidential basis unless a separate agreement says otherwise. You represent that you have the right to share them.

5. Intellectual property

The site, portal, brand, imagery and content are owned by Invictus or its licensors. You may use portal content for your own company's internal purposes only.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other clients' data, interfere with the service, or use automated means to extract content without written permission.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The site and portal are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Invictus disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or portal.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

This notice explains what personal information Invictus collects through the website and client portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. Draft for counsel review.

1. Information we collect

Contact details you provide (name, email, company), materials you submit (pitch decks, descriptions of advisory needs), portal account data, and financial data connected by clients through accounting and banking integrations. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.

2. How we use it

To evaluate investment and advisory inquiries, to operate the client portal and prepare financial reporting and forecasts for clients, to communicate with you, to secure our systems, and to meet legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share information with service providers that help run the portal (hosting, accounting integrations such as QuickBooks, email delivery), with professional advisers, and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

4. Client financial data

Financial data connected to the portal is used solely to provide services to that client and is visible only to that client's authorized users and the Invictus team serving them.

5. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, for the duration of a client relationship, and thereafter as required by law or legitimate business needs (for example, fund records).

6. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit and role-based access to the portal.

7. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may opt out of non-essential email at any time. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.

8. Changes

We will post any changes to this notice here and update the date above.
